Reading is an adventure waiting to happen.

English Language Arts Makes Other Classes Possible

Picture
Do you like history? Or science? Or Art?  Knowing how to read and write allows you to jump into any other class and to learn about what makes it different.  Math uses letters and numbers to tell its own stories in ways that even Dr. Seuss couldn't make up.  Who's your favorite artist?  Reading tells you about his or her life and inspirations.
So, read, write, listen.
You'll be surprised by how far your sense of adventure takes you.

Curiouser and Curiouser

Adventures in ELA are not just for English class.  Yearbook is the students' way to contribute to the ongoing adventure of the school.  As yearbook advisor, I expect students to apply their ELA skills in this class.
